Swedish Massage is a full body massage (except face and head) through which we manipulate the body’s soft tissues with specific techniques to promote or restore health. Swedish Massage dates back to the Ancient Chinese, Greeks and Romans, who all practiced different forms of this massage.
Records show that massage was performed in China as early as 3000 B.C.
Balinese Massage Course
Balinese Massage is a rigorous and luxurious spa treatment originating from the exotic island of Bali. It is an ancient traditional massage which had been carried down from one generation to another as a method of curing a wide variety of health conditions in Indonesia.
Reflexology Course
Reflexology dates back to ancient civilizations such as Egypt, India and China, but this therapy was only introduced to the West in the early 20th Century.
There are points on the surface of the feet which contain nerve endings connecting to other parts of the body. These points are called reflex points. The reflex points create areas that represent each organ system of the body. Through Reflexology, we use scientific techniques for stimulating the reflex points and opening up blockages in the energy channels. This stimulates body functions and triggers healing.
Body Scrubs Course
A Body Scrub is a spa treatment which exfoliates the skin on the body. A mildly abrasive herbal product is rubbed and massaged onto the skin. It is then massaged off to reveal a moisturised layer of fresh, clean, smooth and soft skin. This layer of younger skin has a much desired velvety softness and glow.
Body Wraps Course
A Body Wrap is believed to stimulate the body’s warmth and circulation. It relaxes the mind, relieves aching muscles and joints and is also good for relieving fevers and headaches and preventing colds. Wraps are famous for their ability to break down cellulite through their warm herbal qualities.
